The character, Jacque, from Shakespeare's As You Like It famously speaks, “All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players.” A famous line we still speak today. Spend five Saturdays stepping into the spectacular stories written by the one and only, William Shakespeare. We are never too young to explore the exciting dramas and boisterous comedies that remain a universal language around the world. These five weeks are a FUN, PLAYFUL, ACCESSIBLE invitation for 3rd-7th graders and 8th-11th graders to adventure into royal castles, battlefields, enchanted forests, as witches, kings and queens, fairies, star crossed lovers, and dreamers. There is nothing tame (pun intended) about these five Saturdays. Learn sword fighting, spell casting, physical comedy, voice manipulation, famous lines and characters and everyone will be part of a culmination of a Shakespeare Shake Up of the best of the Bard.
