GOAL
The goal of this series is for young people to be introduced to the exciting craft and professional world of musical theatre, and to have fun during the process. Students will learn from working industry professionals in a supportive and healthy environment - all in the venue that was built by the legendary Garry Marshall.
Throughout their time with our instructors, they will learn valuable skills that make up the foundation of performance in the American Musical Theatre, and the art of acting for the stage. In addition to a wealth of knowledge they will learn about singing, dancing and acting, students will also explore the full range of their speaking voice, how to gain a better command of body language and stage presence, how to be comfortable with communicating with others using eye contact, and learning confidence-building tools for on stage and in life.
