From drama to duels—create action that tells a story! In this high-energy week long camp, participants will explore the thrilling world of stage combat choreography used in theater. Guided by professional stage combat instructors, campers will learn the fundamentals of unarmed combat—like punches, slaps, falls, and dramatic reactions—along with basic swordplay, partner work, and stage movement. Through fun, hands-on exercises, participants see how actors create the illusion of real fights while keeping everyone safe and in control.
Each day combines physical training, teamwork, and storytelling as campers learn how movement and emotion bring action scenes to life on stage. Participants will build confidence, coordination, and focus while creating exciting fight sequences that connect to character and plot. By the end of camp, students will combine all of their new skills in a choreographed fight performance that proves stage combat is as much about acting and trust as it is about action and adventure!
